Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition after accidents or damage. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle is meticulously repaired with precision, quality, and safety in mind. Responsibilities

Perform vehicle repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening with accuracy and efficiency
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the scope of work needed
Ensure proper heavy lifting techniques are used when handling large or heavy vehicle parts or components
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
Document repair procedures, parts used, and work completed for each vehicle in accordance with company policies
Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto body repair or related fields
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for vehicle repair tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as part of daily duties
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Prior experience working in a body shop environment is preferred but not mandatory
Valid driver’s license; certification from an accredited body shop technician program is a plus
