Health and Wellbeing Officer
Salary: £25,000 per annum (actual salary)
Contract: Permanent, term-time only (35 weeks per year).
Hours: 34 hours per week over 4 days, term time only (35 weeks per year). Working hours will be scheduled across Monday to Thursday and include some earlier starts from 7:30am and some later shifts finishing at 5:00pm

Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet, is a world-renowned centre for the training and education of talented, passionate and committed young ballet dancers.
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and compassionate Health and Wellbeing Officer to join our Health and Wellbeing Team.
This is a senior operational role responsible for supporting the day-to-day leadership of the Health and Wellbeing Centre and ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality health and wellbeing services for students. Working closely with the Head of Health and Wellbeing and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare and clinical professionals, the post holder will provide student-centred care, respond to a wide range of health and wellbeing needs, coordinate first aid provision, maintain accurate health records and support the ongoing development of the school’s health and wellbeing services.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day supervision and operational support to the Health and Wellbeing Assistant and Health and Wellbeing Administrator, helping to ensure the smooth running of the Health and Wellbeing Centre and the delivery of excellent standards of care.
We are looking for a confident and organised professional with experience in a healthcare, health and wellbeing or education setting. You will have excellent communication and administrative skills, sound clinical judgement, experience of supporting individuals with illness, injury and wellbeing concerns, and the ability to motivate and support a small team. Experience of working with children and young people is highly desirable. An understanding of the physical and psychological demands of vocational dance training, sport or performing arts environments would be advantageous.
