About Davisons Law

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Legal Secretary to join a supportive team.

What you’ll do

When you join the team with Davisons Law as a Private Client Legal Secretary, you will provide effective support to our Private Client Department

Key Responsibilities:

Provide full support to our Private Client Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
Prepare correspondence using our case management system.
Liaise with clients both on the telephone and in person.
Administer filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
Ensure that correct procedures relating to the storage and sending out of clients deeds and documents are followed at all times.
Provide support and guidance to other assistants as required and at all times work as a team player.
Undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.

You will:

Have experience and knowledge of working within a Private Client department.
Demonstrate initiative and be able to undertake searches, ID checks and other work on files without dictation.
Possess high levels of speed and accuracy.
Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
Be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable.
Have some experience in using Audio Typing
Have an understanding of the concept of confidentiality and how to deal with confidential information.
