This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about leading a team and delivering outstanding care and education for children preparing for school.

About the Role

As a Pre-School Room Leader, you will:

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the Pre-School Room
Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards
Plan engaging activities that support children's learning, development, and school readiness
Supervise, mentor, and support room staff, apprentices, and students
Monitor children's progress and ensure observations and assessments are completed to a high standard
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety requirements are always met
Lead by example and create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children and staff

Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexible working patterns considered.

Experience: Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Early Years Practitioner is desirable.

What We're Looking For

Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, SEND, and child development
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to motivate and support a team
Passion for providing exceptional learning experiences for children
