About Us

Skirting UK is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and online retailers of MDF skirting boards, architraves, window boards, and decorative mouldings. We produce bespoke orders for customers across the UK and take pride in delivering high-quality products with excellent service.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn manufacturing skills and progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Sanding and preparing MDF products to a high standard
Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Checking customer orders for accuracy before dispatch
Wrapping and packaging orders securely for courier collection
Loading and unloading materials when required
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

As your skills develop, you will also receive training in:

Operating saws and cutting MDF to size
Running moulding machinery to create skirting boards and architraves
Spray painting and finishing MDF products
General manufacturing and production processes

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and accurately
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
Experience using woodworking machinery
Experience with spray painting or finishing products
Forklift licence
