About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Management Accountant to support the delivery of accurate monthly management accounts, rolling forecasts, annual budgets and statutory reporting. Working closely with finance business partners, you will help identify income and cost opportunities, support investment decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Produce the monthly management information pack for board distribution.
- Support the preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets, including additional analysis.
- Communicate clearly with the Lead Finance Business Partner regarding risks and opportunities.
- Drive profitability and process improvement through analysis and challenge of current practices.
- Assist in the production of statutory accounts and ensure timely audit sign‑off.

Experience Required

- Degree‑educated (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, business, or a numerate discipline.
- Qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Strong experience in a management accounting role, including ownership or the month-end close and reporting cycle.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power Apps or visualisation tools desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience improving processes and using technology to drive automation.
