About Lending Bridge
Lending Bridge is a fast-growing specialist bridging lender providing short-term property finance solutions across the UK. We work with property investors, developers, brokers, introducers, and professional borrowers who require fast, commercially sensible lending decisions.
We are now looking to hire an experienced Corporate Relationship Manager to help grow our borrower and introducer network, manage key relationships, and support the ongoing performance of our loan portfolio.
This role would suit someone who already has a strong network within property finance, bridging, development finance, commercial lending, or private client lending, and who can bring established borrower and introducer relationships to the business.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Relationship Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves identifying strategic growth opportunities, fostering partnerships, and supporting organisational expansion within the financial services sector. As Corporate Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with borrowers, brokers, introducers, investors, professional clients, and senior stakeholders across the property finance market.
You will play a key role in identifying new lending opportunities, managing existing relationships, supporting portfolio performance, and helping Lending Bridge strengthen its market presence.
The successful candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and ideally a list of borrowers, property professionals, brokers, developers, or introducers who can generate quality lending opportunities.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Origination
You will be expected to:
- Generate new lending opportunities through your existing network of borrowers, brokers, introducers, developers, property investors, professional contacts, property educators, property influencers, large portfolio property companies, auction houses & assest managers
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of quality lending enquiries.
- Identify suitable bridging finance opportunities in line with Lending Bridge’s lending criteria.
- Represent Lending Bridge professionally at meetings, events, networking opportunities, and industry functions.
- Develop strategic relationships with key introducers, brokers, property professionals, solicitors, accountants, valuers, and other referral partners.
- Work closely with the internal sales, underwriting, risk, and completions teams to progress suitable cases efficiently.
Portfolio Management
You will be responsible for:
- Managing allocated borrower and corporate client relationships throughout the lending lifecycle.
- Maintaining regular contact with key borrowers and introducers.
- Monitoring borrower requirements, repayment plans, refinance progress, and future funding opportunities.
- Identifying early warning signs of risk, delays, or potential repayment issues.
- Escalating concerns internally where appropriate and supporting the business in protecting its loan book.
- Identifying repeat lending opportunities within the existing borrower base.
Strategic Partnerships
You will be expected to:
- Build and develop long-term strategic partnerships with high-quality brokers, professional introducers, property developers, and corporate clients.
- Strengthen Lending Bridge’s presence in the bridging and specialist finance market.
- Support the business in creating referral channels that generate consistent, quality lending opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Provide market feedback to the senior management team, including competitor activity, borrower demand, pricing trends, and broker feedback.
Relationship Management
You will be responsible for:
- Acting as a key point of contact for borrowers, brokers, introducers, and senior stakeholders.
- Delivering a high level of service and maintaining professional communication throughout the loan process.
- Understanding each client’s funding requirements, business structure, repayment strategy, and longer-term objectives.
- Managing relationships in a commercially sensible manner while protecting the lender’s position.
- Working with internal teams to ensure cases are handled efficiently from enquiry through to completion and repayment.
Skills
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in bridging finance, property finance, commercial lending, development finance, specialist lending, or corporate relationship management.
Desirable Experience
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience working for a bridging lender, specialist lender, broker, bank, private lender, or property finance business.
- Existing relationships with property investors, developers, professional landlords, auction buyers, brokers, or commercial clients.
- Experience managing high-value or complex lending relationships.
- Knowledge of unregulated bridging loans, short-term property finance, refinance exits, sale exits, and secured lending structures.
- Experience attending networking events and building introducer relationships.
- A proven track record of generating new business and managing client relationships.
- An existing network of borrowers, brokers, introducers, developers, property investors, or professional referrers.
- Strong understanding of the property finance and secured lending market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders and high-value clients.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to identify suitable lending opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple relationships, cases, and priorities at the same time.
- Understanding of credit risk, borrower circumstances, repayment strategies, and portfolio performance.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
