What you’ll be doing:

Being a 247 Home Rescue Engineer you’ll be attending planned and reactive work carrying repair work including jetting internal / external drains and internal plumbing fixtures to keep the water flowing to the right place!

The role requires travel within the local area as well as to more distant locations as work dictates.

Holidays:

22 days + An increase by 1 day for each years’ service for the first two years, up to a maximum of 24 days

· Seasonal hours – (shorter hours in the summer – with the same pay!)

· No on call work

· Monday to Friday schedule

· Pre-planned weekends

· Bonus scheme

· Overtime available

· Paid weekend in winter months/lieu days for weekend working during summer months

Experience required to be selected as a drainage / plumber engineer:

Drainage / plumbing (essential)

Licence/Certification required:

Drainage and Sewerage Installation and Maintenance Engineer blue card. Applicants must provide evidence of having completed any of the following:

City & Guilds (preferred)
Bpec Water Regulations water supply (preferred)
NVQ2 Plumbing & Mechanical Services (preferred)
CABWI Level 2 Diploma in Monitoring the Water Environment
CABWI Level 2 Diploma in Sewerage and Drainage Operations
CABWI Level 2 Certificate in Sewerage Maintenance
CABWI Level 2 Certificate in Operating Sewage Pumping Stations
Driving License (required)
