Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Team Member to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing customer houses, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-kept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance, construction, and gardening within a professional setting.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, Strimming, leaf blowing, and hedgecutting
Operate various power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters to maintain grounds
Use hand tools for planting, digging, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces
Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any faults or issues
Follow health and safety procedures at all times during outdoor maintenance activities

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is required
Proficiency in using hand tools safely and effectively
Strong understanding of gardening techniques
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, , and operating machinery for extended periods
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of grounds care are maintained
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
A valid UK Driving Licence

Please note lone working may be required at times, and you must be able to travel to various sites within 30 miles of Redditch, Worcestershire
