Job and Talent offers temporary contracts Pay£14.30 per hour for day time shifts.£16.59(£2.29 Night Shift Allowance) per hour for night time shifts.£21.45 Overtime (40-50 hours)£28.60 Overtime (50-60 hours)LocationUUK3: Amazon UUK3/HUK3 3a, Merlin Park Wood Lane, Birmingham B24 9QJGoogle Map Link: UUK3Transport ExperienceYou dont need previous experience, you’ll get on the job training✅ What you’ll be doing with your team: - Prepare grocery orders for delivery- Work in temperatures as low as -23°C for extended periods across chiller, and freezer sections of the warehouse with PPE provided.- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around- Use technology like computers, smartphones, manage apps, and scan bar codes- Intake new grocery inventory and put away- Check for order quality- Rotate tasks throughout the week What you will get: - Competitive pay- A safe, modern, and organised workplace- Free hot drinks, affordable meals and multiple break areas. Skills you need: - Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in English, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.- You may need to be able to lift (products up to 23kg), bend, twist, kneel and crouch- Your safety comes first. You must be able to follow safety, quality and production standards.- You may need to stand and walk for long periods during your shift, this could be up to/more than 8 hours per shift.

- You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products.

Safety. Your safety is important to us, so we provide protective gear. All teams share safety tips daily.
Surroundings. You’ll be working around moving machines – order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.
Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.
Temperature. You’ll work in freezer spaces — as low as -23°C — for up to four hours of your shift with short breaks every 45 minutes or you’ll work in the refrigerated spaces. You’ll be provided with proper safety gear and training.
Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear are required in select business units.
