We are an exciting and growing Signage & Display manufacturer based in Hinckley looking for a Trainee/Assistant Signage & Graphics Installation Operative (Fitters Mate).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team, working alongside our Lead Installation Operatives. You will work on a range of projects across the UK, bringing the client’s vision to life. The majority of our installations are during midweek daytimes, but you will need to be flexible with regards working hours as there are often early starts/late finishes, as well as potential night installs and weekend work.
The successful candidate will receive full training but must have an eye for detail, be hardworking, organised, and reliable, have a positive attitude and able to work well within a team environment. A friendly and professional manner is necessary when interacting with our customers. A full driving licence is essential and for insurance purposes, you will be aged 25 years or over. Having a CSCS card would be advantageous.
When not out on site installing signage and graphics, you may be required to assist in the manufacture and production of various signage and display acrylics, for which training will be given.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Following instructions from Senior Installation Operatives regarding all aspects of signage installation
- Loading and transporting signs, tools, and materials to the location safely.
- Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing any electrical connections.
- Mounting and installing the signs in accordance with all safety protocols.
- Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.
- Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.
- Operating and maintaining the necessary tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assisting in the manufacture and production of signage when required.
- Undertaking any training required as part of your role.
