The Role
As a Skilled Landscaper, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality landscaping projects, working closely with the site team to ensure every project is completed on time, to specification, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Groundworks, including excavations, drainage, and footings
- Setting out from drawings and ensuring accuracy on-site
- Carpentry, such as deck and fence installation
- Paving installation to a high standard
- Basic brick and blockwork
- Installing irrigation systems and turf
- Planting trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants
- Working to health and safety guidelines and ensuring all team members follow protocols
- Liaising with clients, colleagues, and contractors
- Supervising and mentoring junior landscapers
- Managing site deliveries and keeping daily site records, including photographs
About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for landscaping, who takes pride in delivering high-quality results. You’ll need to be organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a motivated, supportive team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in the landscaping industry
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Strong technical ability in multidisciplinary landscape construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings
