Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a professional environment, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, ensuring consistency and innovation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated section in compliance with hygiene regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control to minimise waste
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and health & safety regulations at all times
Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance as required
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially in a similar role such as Demi Chef or Commis Chef
Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to continuous learning and development
