We're Hiring: Care Navigator (Medical Receptionist) – Join Our Friendly Team!

Location: St Clements Surgery, Upper Brook Street, Winchester
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

At St Clements Surgery, we’re proud to be a caring and efficient GP practice in the heart of Winchester. located in a modern, purpose-built premises on Upper Brook Street, and we’re looking for a Care Navigator to join our welcoming and hard-working team.

About the Role

As a Care Navigator, you’ll be the first friendly face our patients see – and often the first voice they hear. You’ll play a key role in supporting both our patients and clinical team, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and on the front desk.

Your day-to-day will include:

Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors at the front desk
Managing incoming phone calls and providing clear, helpful information and care navigation
Handling data entry and keeping accurate patient records
Supporting the clinical and duty team with a range of vital admin tasks

What You’ll Need

A caring, calm, and professional manner – even when things get busy!
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confidence using IT systems and a good eye for detail
The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion

Previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferred, but not essential – the right attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

Schedule

This role can be Monday to Friday full time, or flexibility is available for part-time candidates.
