Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and joinery, with a strong focus on fabrication and assembly. This role offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of diverse projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project specification.

All candidates must have a valid CSCS card in date

Must be willing to work away

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and components using hand tools and power tools
Install joinery elements such as doors, fire doors and bespoke furniture
Carry out heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently on-site
Conduct construction painting to finish surfaces to a high standard
Read technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
