Full job description

Job Summary:

Reporting into the Shift Leader, looking after Goods Receiving, storing, picking & packing and distributing goods internally to achieve short- and long-term goals and KPI’s.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborates closely with Warehouse to ensure stock levels are constantly monitored in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels are adhered to, and targets and applicable business KPI’s are met
Reviews material waste and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
Reviews deadstock and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
Responsible for keeping all ordering activities in line with unit finance regulations and audit criteria
Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and ensures GG Suppliers are performing to high standards with the support of Procurement

Qualifications:

Education:

GCSE level or equivalent/High School Diploma or GED required
Certification in food safety and/or sanitation preferred

Work Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role
Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
A forklift truck license and/or license to drive assisted lift equipment is preferable
Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling and aviation security
Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with warehousing, production etc
Previous experience in materials management and control supporting Make & Pack / Pick & Pack / Wash & Pack, managing inventories and interfacing with various functional areas

Other Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

Good Customer service skills

Able to work with heavy loads / pushing and pulling
Able to work to tight deadlines
Team worker
Computer Skills preferred
