Job Role: Pharmacy Driver - Self Employed - Immediate Start Available

Pharmacy Driver Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Driver to join our Kara Healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our logistics operations with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate your vehicles, including vans, lorries, or other commercial vehicles, in accordance with road safety regulations.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas.
Load and unload goods,, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and carry out maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
Assist in delivery activities when not on the road, which may include organising stock and preparing deliveries.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving environments.
Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., car licence or specific commercial licence).
Experience with warehouse operations and heavy lifting is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards. This position offers a vital role within our logistics team, requiring dedication to safe driving practices, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. We value punctuality, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach in all aspects of the role.
