About MiChild at Meadow Nursery

Meadow Nursery is a vibrant, nurturing setting based on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre on Whitegate drive. With excellent public transport links and free onsite parking, we're easy to get to whether you drive or take public transport.

Our setting includes four well-equipped rooms, each tailored to a specific age group and led by a team trained specifically for that developmental stage, we support our team to feel confident within the age group they work with and support training needs. We also have a spacious outdoor garden spaces that are thoughtfully separated to suit different age groups, ensuring safe and enriching outdoor play for all. Our building has a total of 3 garden spaces.
We're especially proud of our dedicated preschool room, where children prepare for their school transition together in a supportive, structured environment.

Each year we are invited to the MiChild awards evening held by our actively involved CEO and COO. At our recent awards night, team meadow were celebrated as winners of ‘Team of the year'. Our local area is great for anyone new to the area or living near by, we are situated next to Whitegate drive health centre and very centrally located on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre.
All local shops are in walking distance and easily accessible to drive to.
We have a local subway, Greggs and Tesco within a short distance.

What We're Looking For:

Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
Plans and delivers age/stage relevant activities, promotes children's development and contributes to the smooth overall running of the nursery
Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
Has experience in leading a room or supervising a team (Desirable) and builds positive relationships with staff, children and parents

**Please note this role is full time for 40 hours per week** / Term Time Only Option Available

Shift Patterns:
This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.

Early Shift: 7.30am -4.00pm

Middle Shifts: 8.00am -5.00pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm

Late Shift: 9.00am-6.00pm
