Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Blackburn Central High School, BB2 3HJ . This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and benefits package.
Shift times:
This role operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern:
- Shift 1: 06:00 – 14:00
- Shift 2: 14:00 – 22:00
What will you deliver?
In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out general caretaking, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks
- Supporting site security, including opening and closing the premises
- Building positive relationships with school staff and community users
- Ensuring services are delivered to a consistently high standard
- Supporting compliance with health and safety requirements
You will also work closely with the Area Supervisor to support service delivery across the site.
For this role you must undergo A DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential

Essential:
