SHE & Compliance Advisor to become a vital part of our onsite

Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Location: IPL Inchture - this is a site-based role
- Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct SHE audits to ensure KPIs set with key stakeholders are maintained, adhering to both internal and external metrics and full compliance. Present findings and recommendations for improvements and any necessary changes to procedures or legislation
- Ensure IPL maintains full accreditations to both internal and external Health & Safety standards. Support the Senior Operations Manager with clear strategies to communicate to key stakeholders, driving continuous improvement towards 'world-class' standards
- Maintain database entries for all accidents and near misses. Implement and coordinate initiatives that reduce the risk of accidents and incidents through effective communications, campaigns, and best practices
- Maintain and update site-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures, and communicate these to key stakeholders
- Support the First Aid provision for the site, ensuring legal requirements for cover and training are met
- Ensure all key stakeholders are appropriately trained to conduct accident investigations. Assist stakeholders in accident investigations and lead investigations in high-potential incidents/accidents
- Provide consultative information and advice on SHE safety to all key stakeholders
- Implement and coordinate initiatives that reduce the risk of accidents and incidents through effective communications, campaigns, and best practices
