Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Universal Grinder to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop essential skills in precision grinding, machining, and assembly processes. As a Trainee Universal Grinder, you will receive hands-on training to operate grinding machines and other tools, contributing to the production of high-quality components. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in manufacturing with a focus on mechanical processes and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and operating grinding machines to shape and finish metal or plastic parts with precision.
Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
Perform basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Learn to use a variety of inspection equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in manufacturing processes. Previous Machine shop experience is prefered.
Ability to read technical drawings is desirable but not required.
Good math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude toward skill development.
Prior experience in machining or manufacturing is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
