Bathroom fitter / multi-trader

Redfern Group Limited is a rapidly growing business operating within the insurance sector, working with some of the UK's leading insurers to deliver high-quality repair and reinstatement work for policyholders. Based in Cannock, we cover a radius of up to 40 miles and pride ourselves on the professionalism, skill, and reliability of our team. We're expanding and looking for the right people to grow with us.

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bathroom fitter and multi-trader to join a busy, forward-thinking company. You'll be working on a varied range of insurance reinstatement and repair projects, primarily in domestic properties, where no two days are the same.

Bathroom fitting and plumbing will be central to the role, and you'll be expected to carry out full bathroom strip-outs and installations to a high standard. Alongside this, you'll draw on your wider multi-trade skills to handle associated works including tiling, carpentry, plastering, and general building repairs as required.

You'll be comfortable working independently on site as well as collaborating with other trades and contractors. The nature of our work means you'll be visiting customers in their homes, so a professional, courteous manner and the ability to communicate clearly with clients is just as important as your technical ability.

Key responsibilitiesFull bathroom strip-out and installation, including sanitaryware, brassware, and associated plumbingCompleting associated multi-trade works including tiling, carpentry, and general repairsWorking on domestic insurance reinstatement projects across the Cannock area and surrounding regionLiaising professionally with homeowners and keeping them informed throughout the worksManaging your own time effectively, ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to the required standardCollaborating with fellow trades and the wider Redfern team to deliver high-quality resultsSalary

£35,000 – £38,000 per year. Salary is negotiable and we welcome applications from highly experienced candidates — we are happy to discuss a package that reflects your level of expertise.

RequirementsMinimum 10 years' experience in bathroom fitting and plumbing (essential)Minimum 10 years' experience across multi-trade (essential)Full UK driving licence (essential)Professional manner and strong customer-facing skillsStrong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workloadCSCS card — not essentialEnhanced DBS check required on appointment
