Loch Awe Hotel is a bustling holiday hotel located in a scenic yet remote area near to Oban. We pride ourselves on providing warm hospitality and excellent service to our guests, ensuring a memorable stay in a beautiful setting.
We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Manager to join our team at Loch Awe Hotel. This vital role involves supporting all departments including Housekeeping, Dining room, Bar, Reception and Kitchen to ensure smooth daily operations. Hospitality manager experience is not essential as full training will be given.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Support staff in delivering excellent guest services and resolve any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with different departments including housekeeping, kitchen, and front desk.
- Contribute to staff training and supervision to maintain high standards.
- Help implement hotel policies and procedures.
- Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience.
- Support the management team in administrative tasks and reporting.
- Maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork among staff.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and adapt to various roles as required to support the hotel's needs.

- Can-do attitude: You're happy to switch from vaccuming a room to serving a three-course meal without missing a beat.
- Peoples person: Our guests love a chat! A friendly, patient and helpful personality is key.
- Reliability: You take pride in showing up to work on time and giving 100% in everything you do.
- Flexibility: Comfortable with shift work which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
