Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Dispenser, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately dispensing prescriptions, providing essential medication information, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional service. Your dedication will ensure that patients receive the right medications promptly and safely, contributing to their overall well-being and health outcomes. Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications following doctor’s instructions and pharmacy protocols
Verify patient details and medication orders to prevent errors and ensure safety
Assist pharmacists with medication administration procedures and patient consultations
Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and patient interactions
Support inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates
Provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy management

Requirements

Previous experience working in a community pharmacy.
Proven dispensing experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
