Salary: £24,796 to £25,185 per annum
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week
Contract Length: Apprenticeship until 31/03/2028
Location: Chichester with hybrid working opportunities

We are looking for an organised apprentice who is keen to learn. Could this be you?
In this role you will work alongside colleagues to provide a customer focused service to others.
You will be part of the exciting Highways, Transport and Planning directorate, working in the busy and diverse Transport and Network teams.
You will be involved in several activities including:
- Database maintenance and management
- Dealing with customer enquiries and liaising with stakeholders
- Administrative support for teams such as Road Safety, Active Travel, Local Transport Improvements
- Transport coordination, administrative duties and assisting service assurance
- Supporting operational and project meetings.
Your apprenticeship will last for 18 months, and during this time you’ll spend around 20% of your working week studying. We’ll provide you with the flexibility and support you need to learn while you work, but you’ll need to have the commitment and dedication necessary to successfully balance your studies with your day-to-day role.
You will undertake and complete the various elements of the Advanced Apprenticeship, likely to be a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at Level 3, a Business Administration Certificate, Functional Skills, and Employment Responsibilities & Rights.

- The ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a team to provide a co-ordinated service to others
- Five GCSE passes at Grade C (4-9) or above (including English and Maths) or equivalent vocational qualification
- A full valid UK driving licence.
