Job Overview
We are a growing last-mile delivery business partner to Amazon, currently scaling from launch phase to full fleet operations.

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Operations Manager (Contractor) to support the day-to-day running of delivery operations, working closely with the business owner and independent delivery drivers.

This is a self-employed contractor role, engaged on a weekly fee basis, with scope to scale responsibilities as the business grows.

Duties

Coordinate day-to-day delivery operations across drivers and routes
Oversee dispatch readiness, including driver attendance and route allocation
Support onboarding of new drivers (training coordination, compliance checks, uniforms)
Monitor operational performance (delivery completion, defects, punctuality)
Act as the on-site point of contact for operational issues and escalations
Maintain compliance with Amazon DSP operational standards
Provide weekly reporting and operational insights to the business owner

Skills

Strong logistics / delivery operations coordination
Able to manage 10–30+ drivers in a live environment
Confident handling dispatch, absences and route issues
Good problem-solving under pressure
Clear communication with drivers and on-site teams
Organised, reliable and able to operate independently
Comfortable using apps, routing tools and basic reporting
Focused on performance and operational outcomes

Working Arrangement

On-site presence required to support daily operations
Flexibility in how services are delivered, subject to operational needs
Expected to manage workload independently to meet agreed outcomes

Pay: From £100.00 per day

Work Location: In person
