Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement and sourcing activities for aerospace materials, components, and equipment

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with aerospace quality standards
Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements for production schedules
Analyze supply chain risks, shortages, and logistics disruptions
Maintain supplier performance metrics including cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
Support contract negotiations and vendor management activities
Ensure compliance with industry regulations including AS9100, FAA, ITAR, and export controls
Collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to resolve material issues
Prepare reports on supply chain performance, inventory accuracy, and procurement costs
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and optimize operations

Work Experience

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense supply chain operations
Knowledge of aerospace procurement processes and supplier management
Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Understanding of aerospace regulatory requirements and documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM
Experience with government contracts or defense programs
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations
