Haberdashers’ Elstree Schools are seeking to appoint a highly organised, warm and professional Assistant Registrar to join our Admissions team.
This is a people-focused role at the heart of the School, ideal for someone who takes real pride in delivering an exceptional experience and who enjoys building relationships with families at the very start of their Habs journey. As the first point of contact for many prospective parents, you will play a crucial role in shaping perceptions of the School and ensuring a welcoming, informed and seamless admissions process from enquiry through to joining.
The role
Reporting to the Admissions Registrar, you will be responsible for the smooth end-to-end customer journey for your entry points, ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, professionalism and high standards of Habs Elstree. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for prospective families, responding promptly and warmly to enquiries and providing clear, accurate information
- Managing applications, interviews, assessments, offers and joining documentation
- Building strong relationships with families from initial enquiry through to enrolment
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date admissions records in line with departmental policies and timescales
- Requesting pupil references from feeder schools and preparing offer letters and joining documentation
