Job Summary

Lush Mechanical Limited is a busy New build plumbing and heating firm based near Winchester specialising in plumbing and heating installations for a selection of National and Regional housing developers.

The company has experienced significant growth over the past few years which has given us the opportunity to expand our management structure and engineer base through careful structured recruitment.

This role will give you the opportunity to join our team and help us to develop into an industry leading plumbing company capable of large volume whilst delivering high standards of work and remaining within the budget set by estimating.

The job will suit either an experienced Mechanical estimator or an experienced new build plumber looking to come off the tools and move into a office based role with on the job training.

Responsibilities

Analyse project drawings, specifications and other technical documentation to develop comprehensive mechanical cost estimates
Prepare detailed proposals, including labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs ensuring that bids are competitive while maintaining profitability
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and lead times
Review project scope changes and update estimates accordingly

Requirements

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components and installation processes
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers, clients and internal teams
Experience as a Mechanical Estimator or similar role within the construction industry is desirable but not essential

Salary dependant on experience

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
