Valiant Homes is a growing local housing and supported accommodation provider operating across Bournemouth and Poole.
We are looking for a reliable, practical and organised Property Standards & Compliance Assistant to help maintain high standards across our portfolio of residential and supported accommodation properties.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being out and about, takes pride in maintaining standards and is confident working independently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Visiting properties across Bournemouth and Poole each week.
- Carrying out property inspections.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.
- Taking photographs and recording property conditions.
- Checking communal areas remain clean, safe and presentable.
- Carrying out light communal cleaning where required.
- Conducting visual fire safety and health & safety checks.
- Reporting repairs and monitoring progress.
- Preparing rooms for new residents.
- Checking stock levels of communal supplies.
- Supporting the management team in maintaining safe, compliant and welcoming homes.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Is reliable and trustworthy.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work.
- Can work independently and manage their own time.
- Takes pride in keeping properties well maintained.
- Is confident communicating with residents, contractors and colleagues.
- Is comfortable using a smartphone, email and basic computer systems.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to travel between properties across Bournemouth and Poole.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- Property management
- Facilities management
- Caretaking
- Hotel or hospitality operations
- Housing or supported accommodation
- Building maintenance
- Residential lettings
- Compliance inspections
However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
