Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your energy and hands-on approach will help ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces and construction sites.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance, including planting, trimming, and general garden care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision to complete construction or landscaping tasks
Support the installation and repair of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution
Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and material transportation to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Conduct routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols at all times and assist in setting up work zones for various projects
Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
Knowledge of irrigation systems or experience with horticulture is a plus
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks

Pay: From £800.00 per week
