Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred, along with a passion for food safety and high standards of cleanliness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic and customer-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring high standards of service are maintained at all times
Assist with food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards
Support the setup and breakdown of catering events or restaurant areas as required
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, counters, and kitchen stations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Handle customer enquiries professionally, providing information about menu items and specials
Restock supplies and organise stock levels to ensure smooth operation during service periods
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless dining experiences

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable; restaurant or barista experience is a plus
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if required
A genuine interest in food, beverages, and delivering outstanding customer service
