Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, high-quality finishes to a variety of interior and exterior spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to transform environments through expert painting techniques and decorative skills. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial properties. A strong focus on safety, communication, and teamwork will ensure success in this dynamic role.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other tools effectively to achieve smooth, even coatings.
Collaborate with clients or project managers to select appropriate colors, textures, and finishes based on project specifications.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
Conduct routine inspections during projects to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues promptly.
Communicate clearly with team members and clients regarding project progress, timelines, and any adjustments needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Valid driving license with reliable transportation is preferred for job site access.
Excellent communication skills in English to understand project requirements and collaborate effectively.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights, handling chemicals, and operating machinery.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
