Overview
We are seeking a skilled, passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of exceptional dishes while honing your culinary skills within a professional kitchen setting.

Duties

Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish, maintaining organisation and cleanliness.
Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly.
Support junior team members by providing guidance and training where necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines.
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment is highly desirable.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
