Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and contributing to high-quality building outcomes. The successful candidate will be involved in diverse tasks, supporting the completion of construction works efficiently and safely. Prior experience in construction-related tasks is advantageous, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. This position provides paid employment from day one, with opportunities for skill development and career progression.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and organisation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
Support roofers in their tasks.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Aid in the installation of roofing works as directed.
Assist with fabrication and assembly of structural components according to schematics and technical drawings.
Perform general site cleaning to maintain a safe and organised working environment.
Support the application of industrial cladding construction
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure workplace for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements

Previous experience or familiarity with construction trades such as roofing, cladding, flashing work is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Basic understanding of schematics or technical drawings is advantageous.
Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if required.
Strong team player with good communication skills.
Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards on site.
Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel between sites is necessary. This role offers an excellent platform for individuals eager to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects in a supportive environment.
