Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. This is a paid position suitable for individuals with a strong background in administrative support and office management.

Duties

Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings effectively
Organise travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately within QuickBooks and other relevant systems
Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organising documents
Liaise with internal teams and external contacts to facilitate communication and coordination
Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of the Managing Director when required
Support special projects or events as needed to ensure successful execution

Experience

Proven administrative experience in an office environment or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Previous clerical experience including document management and record keeping
Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Ability to type quickly and efficiently to handle correspondence and data entry tasks

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
