Overview

We are seeking 2 motivated and skilled Digger Driver/Groundworker to join our construction team. In this role, you will assist with excavation, site preparation, and material handling. Groundworkers role includes laying of sewers/drains, paving. Understanding of drawings.

Duties

Operate diggers with precision to perform excavation, trenching, and grading tasks according to project specifications. Groundworkers needs ability to work within a team as works need to be completed to drawings.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to execute digging plans efficiently and safely
Load, unload, and transport materials using commercial driving skills, adhering to all safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times during operation and site activities

Requirements

Proven experience operating excavators/ dumpers/rollers and proven experience with Groundworks on a construction site.
Valid CPCS/CSCS cards and any other cards.
Excellent attention to detail combined with a safety-first mindset
Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and operational procedures

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
