Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Working Brickwork Foreman/Supervisor to lead and oversee bricklaying projects on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring safety standards, and delivering high-quality brickwork within specified deadlines. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with supervisory experience to contribute to large-scale construction projects and advance their career in construction management.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate bricklaying teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
Plan daily work schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor progress to meet project timelines.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to interpret project plans and specifications.
Conduct quality control inspections of brickwork, ensuring NHBC standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Manage material supplies, equipment, for bricklaying activities.
Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance skills and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising bricklaying teams within the construction industry.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and organise teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in overseeing multiple aspects of construction projects.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Ability to problem-solve on-site and adapt plans as necessary to meet project demands. This role is ideal for a motivated professional seeking a leadership position within the brickwork sector, committed to delivering quality results while maintaining safety standards across all operations.
At least NVQ level 3 in brickwork, SSSTS/SMSTS and first aid

Pay: £230.00-£250.00 per day
