Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming yet secure environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to public safety and customer service within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to verify authorised access using CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
Conduct thorough checks on individuals entering the premises, ensuring compliance with security policies
Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorised access, theft, or disorderly behaviour
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious activities and intervening when necessary
Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid if required, and liaising with emergency services when appropriate
Record incidents accurately in security logs and report any irregularities or concerns to management
Enforce venue policies in a professional manner, ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security breaches

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
Experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is highly desirable
Basic first aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods during shifts
