Service Administrator Apprentice

Location: Stanningley, West Yorkshire
Company: Halcyon Drives Limited
Salary: £16,000 per annum
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Halcyon Drives Limited is a well-established specialist in industrial drive systems and engineering solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Service Administrator Apprentice to join our team in Stanningley.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in administration while gaining valuable experience within a busy engineering and service environment. Alongside practical workplace training, you will work towards achieving an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, providing a strong foundation for your future career.

The Role

As a Service Administrator Apprentice, you will provide vital administrative support to our Service Department, helping to ensure that our customers receive the highest levels of service and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with enquiries.
Scheduling service visits and coordinating engineer appointments.
Maintaining accurate customer and service records.
Processing service reports, job sheets and documentation.
Assisting with quotations, purchase orders and invoicing.
Managing emails and customer correspondence.
Supporting the Service Team with day-to-day administrative activities.
Filing and maintaining electronic records and databases.
Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop in a professional environment. You should have:

A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

£16,000 salary per annum.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
