Directorate

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Governance Officer to join the University's Governance Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a governance professional who enjoys working at the heart of institutional decision-making. You will provide expert governance and secretariat support to senior committees and panels, working closely with Committee Chairs, Executive colleagues and stakeholders from across the University.

What you will be doing:

Managing committee business from end to end
Providing governance advice, preparing high-quality agendas and papers, producing accurate minutes and ensuring effective follow-up of decisions and actions.
You will also play an important role in improving governance processes, supporting committee effectiveness and helping the University maintain high standards of accountability, transparency and compliance.

Qualifications/ experience:

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent written communication, sound judgement and the confidence to provide constructive challenge when needed.
