Full job description

Reports to: Paint Supervisor

Salary: (Dependant on experience)

Location: Ossett

Role Profile:

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Paint Sprayer to join our team. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in applying paint by airless and or airless air assisted spray pumps as well as the use of conventional pressure pot spray guns, along with a good knowledge of two pack paints Inc epoxy primers.

We are looking for someone who is conscientious in their way of working, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, and who can cope with the pace of production whether working as part of a team or on their own. 2 years’ experience as a commercial or industrial sprayer is essential.

Applicants will be expected to complete a spray test prior to a job being offered if completed to a satisfactory standard.

Candidates should be able to work at heights and/or in confined spaces. Experience within the UK’s manufacturing or engineering sectors will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

1. To prepare and paint large steel structures according to customer requirements and specifications on finish and thickness.

2. To accurately prepare paints prior to use.

3. To maintain good health and safety practices.

4. To work efficiently and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

1. TTP (train the painter)

2. AQA paint training or apprenticeship in relevant field of work

3. ICATS (paint spraying)

4. Relevant experience is required

Pay: £17.00 per hour
