Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated UPVC Window Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to UPVC window frames, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in construction painting or related fields. The position requires good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Applicants should possess a valid driving licence and have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare UPVC window frames for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
Ensure all work is completed to the specified colour and finish standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during the painting process
Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered
Assist with other related tasks as required to support the production process

Qualifications

Previous experience in airless spraying is essential
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation between sites or materials stores
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting and construction work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £180.00 per day
