Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, maintain high food safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The position is fully paid and suitable for individuals with a background in food preparation, culinary arts, or hospitality management.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.
Coordinate food production activities, including menu planning and inventory management.
Monitor service delivery to ensure guests receive attentive and professional hospitality.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Train new staff members in service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
Collaborate with suppliers to manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
Maintain organised records of sales, expenses, and staff schedules.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Previous experience in culinary arts or hotel environments is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
Experience serving guests in a hospitality setting is preferred.
Additional skills such as barista experience or bar management are desirable but not essential.
