Manchester’s first immersive Retail Theatre experience is seeking its Founding Cast, as a Global beauty brand is opens its flagship store at the Trafford Centre, creating something no beauty brand has done before and turning the shop floor into a stage.
We’re looking for 15 exceptional performer-activators with presence, energy and the ability to connect and host in character, bringing 7 fabulous immersive performance area’s to life, every single day.

What does the role involve?
You’ll be trained and directed by industry professionals, given a costumed character role, and placed at one of five beautifully designed stations where you’ll engage, entertain and guide customers through a genuinely unforgettable brand experience as your Character.
Who are we looking for. We’re looking for two types of people:
Professional or trained actors who want a sustained, regular performance day job they can be proud of — one that fits around a broader acting career.
Emerging performers and brand enthusiasts — people with natural stage presence, a passion for beauty and the ambition to develop real performance skills in one of the most high-profile retail settings in the North of England. No formal training is required, but you must have the personality, professionalism and drive to deliver.

Responsibilities
- Perform as designated characters, bringing them to life through expressive acting and movement
- Engage with visitors in a friendly and approachable manner, enhancing their overall experience
- Lead interactive activities, games, or storytelling sessions tailored to different age groups
- Maintain character integrity and adhere to costume and performance guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate performances and special events
- Ensure the safety of guests during interactive performances and activities
- Assist in setting up performance areas and preparing costumes or props as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in dancing or movement-based activities to animate characters effectively
- Strong public speaking skills to captivate and communicate clearly with diverse audiences
- Experience in teaching or guiding groups, especially children, is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests, colleagues, and management
- Creative flair and adaptability to perform various characters convincingly
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: £15.00-£15.01 per hour
