Full job description

Customer Services Coordinator required by Strachan Furniture Makers Ltd. Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The Company:

For four generations, the Strachan family has been designing, manufacturing and installing luxury bespoke fitted furniture for discerning clients throughout the UK.

The company is seeking to appoint a Customer Services Coordinator to join our well-established manufacturing and retail business.

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Customer Services Manager, the main responsibilities of this role are:

Project management of customers’ orders through to successful completion.
Co-ordination of projects between departments; Sales, Cad Design, Production and Installations.
Planning and making surveyor and fitter diary appointments.
Investigating and resolving customer queries in a professional, timely and effective manner.
Handling day-to-day administration and communications, confidently and efficiently.

Skills and Experience:

Confident, bright and an enthusiastic team player dedicated to implementing projects on time and within budget.
Ability to multi-task and stay well organised.
An excellent all-round communicator with colleagues and customers.
Have excellent interpersonal and active listening skills.
Experience in business-to-home improvement customer service (although not essential).
Competent in the use of I.T systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to interpret and discuss Cad design drawings (training provided).
Able to learn quickly from our ongoing training and support programmes to gain our existing product knowledge and methods of working.
Ambitious to progress own career and be suitably rewarded in both financial and career progression.

Benefits:

· A salary of £27,000 to £30,000 with pension and bonus scheme commensurate with experience.

· 22 days holiday plus bank holidays to start, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays with years of service.

· Free parking.

· Adjacent to train station and good bus routes (Leeds/Bradford).

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom and be available for a face-to-face interview at our office in Leeds at short notice.
