Head of Marketing
Aspire Property Group | Horsforth, Leeds (hybrid)
- Location: Horsforth, Leeds. Hybrid, with Tuesday and Thursday as optional remote days. (Please note, we are open to a more hybrid approach for the right applicant)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a one-hour lunch.
- Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 base, depending on experience, plus a 5 to 15% performance bonus (on-target earnings £63,000 to £80,500).

Hi, I'm Jamie York, co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Aspire Property Group. Just over ten years ago, Dan Buchan and I started Aspire from a bedroom in Leeds. Here is our honest gap: right now, you would only really know how good we are once you had become a customer. We need someone to show the entire world who we are, long before that. That someone is our Head of Marketing.
The role:
A world-class Head of Marketing to build and run our demand engine: the machine that takes a stranger from first discovering Aspire all the way to a booked, qualified call. You will have the freedom, the budget and the platform to build it across brand, organic content, paid media and automation, working directly with the founders and the leadership team. If you are obsessed with growth, leadership and category-defining marketing, this is a five-year opportunity to build something to be genuinely proud of.
What you'll own:
- The marketing strategy across the Aspire brands: positioning, messaging, brand and the customer journey.
- The marketing budget, forecasting and ROI across every channel.
- The content and creative engine, our social presence, and organic growth (including SEO and GEO)
- Paid media across Meta and YouTube, where we invest heavily.
- The owned audience: email, SMS and WhatsApp groups, grown as assets.
- The conversion vehicles (webinars, VSLs, live events), built with the leadership team.
- The operations of conversion, end-to-end, including conversion rate optimisation (CRO), plus a clean measurement stack across GA4, attribution, conversion tracking, CRM (Salesforce) and automation.
- Building and leading a high-performing, AI-augmented in-house team.
Where the line sits:
You own marketing and the operations of conversion, from awareness through to a booked call, and from a revenue-operations perspective up to the point a customer is handed to an account manager. The sales conversations themselves (the DMs and the call) sit with our sales team. You are measured on the quality and cost of demand, cost per acquisition and cost per booked call, not on the close.

The essentials:
- 10+ years in brand strategy, creative direction and content leadership, with a strong portfolio.
- 5+ years leading and developing a team.
- 5+ years as a paid media strategist and performance marketer. You must deeply understand how to profitably attract and convert cold audiences, which is at the heart of media buying. You will not need to be the person in the ad platforms day-to-day, but you must own the strategy and the result.

Our interview process
We hire over roughly four weeks. After we review your application, there is a short call to book you in and run a few basic logistics and compliance checks. Then three stages:
- A culture interview over Zoom: are we aligned, and would we love working together?
- A competency interview, in person: how you would actually run the role.
- A task and presentation, followed by some questions, because we cannot really work with someone until we have worked with them.
