The Autocentre Dewsbury Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. As a Apprentice Mechanic you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a hands-on environment. You will work closely with experienced mechanics and technicians to gain practical experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and assembly. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about mechanics and eager to start their career in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Learn to use various tools and equipment for automotive repair
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Assist with electrical repairs, including reading schematics and troubleshooting
- Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions

Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with automobiles
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Basic computer skills for accessing repair manuals and diagnostic software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, bending, and reaching
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team

Note: This is a paid position, At the end of this Apprenticeship you will receive NVQ,We believe in compensating our apprentices for their time and dedication.

Pay: £15,000.00-£29,875.00 per year
