Full job description

We are a well-established, family-owned, print business looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team as an Office Admin Assistant. This is an entry-level opportunity and is suitable for someone at the very start of their working life, including school/college leavers, or anyone looking to move from Retail/Hospitality to begin their first office-based role.

You do not need previous office experience, and you do not need to have followed a traditional career path — we are far more interested in attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a varied admin and customer support role. Some tasks are fast-paced and customer-focused, others are routine and detail-oriented — both are important to keeping the business running smoothly.

Processing incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently
Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
Supporting the sales and administration team with day-to-day tasks
General administration, data entry and record keeping

About You

Friendly, positive and reliable
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Able to work well in a small team

Working Hours & Benefits

Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–5:30pm (1 hour lunch), Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
100% Office-based role
No weekend working or expectation of overtime
£13.00 – £13.50 per hour
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Casual dress code
