Full job description

The Beeches Hotel, a well-established 43-bedroom hotel, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

Located in the heart of the local community, we cater to both hotel guests and the general public, offering a busy and varied service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are particularly well known in the area for our popular Sunday lunches, and we pride ourselves on using fresh, high-quality ingredients wherever possible to create delicious, seasonal dishes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated chef who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is capable of working independently when required, particularly during breakfast service.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
Assisting with preparation and organisation of ingredients for daily service
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations
Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver a consistent, high-quality dining experience

What We’re Looking For:

A passionate and reliable individual with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
A keen interest in fresh, quality ingredients and food presentation
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential for Commis level)
